Important information for students currently on exchange at FEB Zagreb

(winter semester 2021/22)

CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE

january 26, 2022

Certificates of Attendance/Stay: if you have forms that contain start date and end date of mobility on the same document, you don’t need to send those to us, in that case we have them from the beginning of the semester in our records. But you need to let us know what your end date is and send us this information a little bit in advance so that the documents can be signed on time.

If the confirmation of departure is a separate form, please fill it out with the information known to you (your name, surname, home university name and similar) and then send it to us by email.

possible to schedule exams in studomat

january 21, 2022

Now it should be possible to schedule your exams through the Studomat application. We ask you to do it as soon as possible and then to shortly confirm the scheduling in this Google form: https://forms.gle/o2YTDDcDCjdxdYCr7. In the form also please fill out the information about your home university contact to whom we will send your Transcript of Records at the end of mobility.

On 24, 25, 26 & 27 January either Lidija or Nikolina will be available to you on Google Meet to help you with the scheduling of exams if you need it.

You can contact us via chat or (video)call, we can guide you through the instructions. The link to the Google Meet meeting is here: https://meet.google.com/idb-xcgx-env. We will be available from 10 am to 3 pm (with a short break around noon).

It is very important that all of you schedule the first exam dates of all your courses. Please check the date when you click on ‘schedule’ because sometimes Studomat puts the second exam date in front of the first one, so it’s easy to make a mistake.

If your home institution has given you certificates of stay/attendance, bear in mind that here they are signed by the Vice Dean, so it is best to send them by e-mail 3-4 days before the end of your mobility, to make sure that they will be signed by the time you need them.

Since there are limitations for this type of gatherings, the meeting will happen in three groups. You will need to sign up via a Google link below:

1) Monday, 15 November, at 2:30 pm – sign up here: https://forms.gle/ApyPpc3o8nu1mAyv7

2) Tuesday, 16 November, at 2:15 pm – sign up here: https://forms.gle/KCa6awqQpoYzPHr97

You attend this meeting only once, you select one of the three dates.

The meeting does not excuse you from missing classes.

The meeting is organized mostly to give you additional information regarding your stay and studies at FEB, especially to clarify the examination system here.

It is very important for you to know how passing courses through midterms and scheduling exams works (our system is different from the systems at your home universities).

Also, a representative of one of FEB’s student associations will give a short presentation to explain how you can join them and contribute to the work of their Exchange Students Team.

Plus, there will be some small presents for you :)

LA CHANGES

OCTOBER 8, 2021

By now you should have an idea which courses you will keep, which ones you will delete and which ones you will add - BACHELOR COURSES.

So to make it official, please fill out the form below.

For Erasmus+ students: there is an empty ERASMUS+ form that you need to fill out and an example of ERASMUS+ form to see how to do it.

For NON-Erasmus+ students: please use the other form, NON-Erasmus+ form, and also look at the example form for you.

All the instructions you need are listed in the example forms, please read them carefully!

For the changes you will also need the table on this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14YrE53g3-kAjIqR62o3fhXDdzLGpAyKz_0UXJKUcME8/edit#gid=0 - here is where you find course codes and number of ECTS credits of each course. If you need some course descriptions, you will also find them in this table, a link will appear when you click on the course name.

VERY IMPORTANT: Once you fill out the forms you need to send them to this address: io.febzg@gmail.com (so NOT TO incoming-mobility@net.efzg.hr) and we will give it to FEB ECTS Coordinator to sign. The documents do not need to be previously signed by your home university coordinators, but if they are, that’s ok. Some of you have already send those forms, but please forward them now to io.febzg@gmail.com address.

Please fill out the forms and send them by Tuesday (12 October) end of day or sooner.

Once our ECTS Coordinator signs them, you will receive the scans that you will then send to your home university coordinators to sign.

MASTER LEVEL COURSES will be changed after the master classes begin.

ACCESSING CLASSES

OCTOBER 1, 2021

on this link: SEE EMAIL please find the links to Google Meets on which the courses will take place. You will also find access codes for the online learning platform Google Classroom: https://classroom.google.com/h. (A couple of courses are on Moodle & Zoom, but this is visible in the table and the links are provided).

The list for master courses will be announced later.

To access Google Classrooms you need to be signed into your FEB Google account (00676xxxxx@net.efzg.hr).

If the new password hasn’t started working yet for your Google/Gmail account, it is probably because of the synchronization. It may take a few hours after you change the password we provided you with, for the new password to start working on Google apps.

Also, if possible, try to sign up to the Google Classrooms of your desired courses already before Monday, mostly so that teachers whose courses you haven’t selected in the Before the Mobility LA know how many students to count with.

For you information, your student ID number is your JMBAG number – those 10 digits that come before @net.efzg.hr or @efzg.hr.
